Low-code Transport Management System (TMS) from Thinkwise for accelerated innovation
Verhoek Europe is an international logistics service provider with fourteen branches. The family business recently passed to the third generation and that also brought with it a technological innovation. The new management chose Thinkwise to replace the obsolete Transport Management System (TMS). Verhoek Europe is a specialist in roll transport. An “off the shelf” TMS solution restricted Verhoek Europe in the specific processes for this type of transport. The speed and flexibility of the low-code platform were also important. For example, a Brexit module to digitize and automate the administrative burden for freight transport between the UK and Europe was realized within a very short time.
Vanenburg supports Verhoek Europe in this project as their trusted implementation partner. Among other things, advanced TMS modules and integrations with external systems (such as fleet management systems and onboard computers) and external databases are being built. The new solution will be used onboard all their vehicles and at 14 locations in Europe.
