Vanenburg Group reacquires Kasteel De Vanenburg

Putten – July 19, 2019 – Vanenburg Group B.V. purchases the Kasteel De Vanenburg estate back from investment company Duo-Invest. In 2013 Vanenburg Group had to sell this property. This gave the company the opportunity to focus on its core expertise by delivering innovative software technologies.
In the past years our companies – both the software as well as the hospitality business – have shown significant growth. For more than twenty years the castle has been close to our heart and it carries not only the name of our company but is also the strategic headquarter for our business. In order to ensure this for the future and to facilitate the business expansion we have bought this location for housing our software activities as well as continuing our hotel, restaurant, and convention center.

Vanenburg Group is the investment company of Jan Baan, founder of Baan Company and Cordys, and a successful investor in TopTier and WebEx. At the moment, the Vanenburg Group consists of three companies:

Vanenburg Software makes innovative IT solutions and has a long history in the IT industry. Currently, it has 100+ employees at its locations in the Netherlands and India.

Educator develops and manages software applications for the education market. These solutions contribute to well-organized education and effective supervision and increase the possibility of personal education.

Kasteel De Vanenburg is a hotel, restaurant, convention center, and wedding location, located on an authentic 17th-century estate, centrally located in the heart of the Netherlands.
