EuroCloud NL Award for AntTail a key customer of Vanenburg Software

This year, the EuroCloud award for the Best Cloud Product was granted to AntTail, an innovative customer of Vanenburg Software who is providing a global security & temperature monitoring service to protect medication and vaccines. The award was given to the end-to-end quality system developed by Vanenburg Software and used by MSD, one of the world largest pharmaceutical companies. This solution ensures compliance in the supply chain of the pharmaceutical sector and reduces waste of precious medication.

Pieter Six, co-founder of AntTail commented: “In a $158 billion market, up to an estimated 35% of vaccines and medicines are outside of specs due to temperature excursions. That why it is crucial to trace and monitor the temperature from manufacturer to patient. EuroCloud Netherlands has presented the annual EuroCloud Awards for the fifth time. The festive ceremony took place in the beautiful conference room of Capgemini in Utrecht and was sponsored by Capgemini, EMC and VMWare.

During last year’s edition of the EuroCloud awards, Vanenburg Software has won two prices for innovative and game-changing projects. During the 2014 edtion, Fortierra (offering an online solution for real estate data) has won the Best Cloud Product Award and eVerbinding (providing an e-invoicing solution for Small- & Medium Businesses) was recognized as the Best Cloud Startup.
