About eparts.shop

eparts.shop is a webshop from South Dakota, that specializes in spare parts. The products they sell vary from air conditioning parts to door handles to seat cushions. Although they are a start-up, they have strong relationships with suppliers from around the world. This way they are always able to offer the best quality at competitive rates. They understand that their customers are busy and want to find the desired parts quickly and easily. We are glad to be eparts.shop’s partner in realizing this mission!

Challenges

As a webshop, eparts.shop deals with many time-consuming tasks, such as purchasing, invoicing, accounting, order picking, and warehouse and supplier management. The more time they have to spend time on such activities, the less they can focus on their core business: to offer customers the best online experience. Therefore, eparts.shop needed three solutions: integration of CRM and sales channels, warehouse management, and supplier management.

Integration of Salesforce, Magento, Amazon, eBay, Wix and Shopify

Eparts.shop uses more than one platform to sell their wares on; besides the website created in Magento, they use Amazon, eBay, Wix and Shopify for sales as well. It is important that all sales are managed within the same system. The Salesforce platform is a CRM fully supporting all e-commerce processes, from order intake to warehouse and supplier management. Another plus of this platform is that it enables several integration solutions for other systems. Vanenburg developed integrations between Salesforce and the different webshops on Magento, eBay, Amazon, Wix and Shopify. In addition, eparts.shop makes use of Quickbooks for accounting, with Salesforce for Quickbooks. This way, all data is synchronized easily, and all sales can be managed within the same CRM.

Warehouse management

For warehouse management, Vanenburg developed an intelligent enterprise application on top of Salesforce. This warehouse app allows users to easily pick, pack, and ship the products to customers. When a customer purchases a product on one of the several sales channels, the user at eparts.shop can view on his warehouse app the exact location of this product which enables picking quickly and easily. Also, stock levels are updated automatically.

Supplier portal

As eparts.shop has a strong partnership with suppliers, Vanenburg has developed a supplier portal. With this portal, the suppliers have insight into eparts.shop’s inventory. On the other hand, the suppliers can add product data to the portal so that eparts.shop knows what is available. The supplier portal is integrated with Salesforce, so all products created in the portal are synchronized with Salesforce.

Brandon van Beek, founder of eparts.shop commented: “I never thought that adding, editing and managing product information would be as simple as we have made it. The work that Vanenburg has done for our company is truly remarkable. We are very excited to have worked with such a great team that was able to facilitate all of our needs.
